met some ex-classmates on saturday and we went to sentosa for a day out. we spent our entire day at Siloso Beach, tanning and playing on land, and in the water. OK, i never thought i would go in. but hey, i got dunked in. oh well. i loved the beach. the sand was so soft, and the sea was...well it looked clean at least. the only thing slightly wrong on that day was that the sun was a little too hot for our own good. thankfully we had tanning oil and sunblock(oh wait, the irony lol.). lots of babes and a couple of gorgeous hunks to look at as well. :) and then shaun, pris and i went to starbucks for a little catch up time after dinner at breeks. what a fab time.
had my current class' bbq yesterday at east coast park. there was some cock up in the meeting plan, and i ended up having to go there alone.plus i'm no street smart kid. i'm a road idiot. THANK GOD FOR THE INVENTION OF TAXIS. i probably got there a little too early though, and it ended up with only 4 of us there, having nothing to do as the conversational topics slowly ran out. and what's best was that it started to pour. go figure.
thankfully, the rain stopped when the rest of my classmates appeared. and i was quite amazed that except for one who went overseas, and the other who, well..had no idea how to go, everyone else from the class showed up. what a success. and almost everyone actually volunteered to do the barbequeing, which was definitely good. my classmates are a funny bunch, but the real star of the night was Jack.. or erm, Jackie Chan,as so he insisted. what a cutie. mischievous and yet so adorable at the same time. i was so in love with him.
did i mention that he's 3 yrs old?
he is. :p but he spoke like he's 7. and yes, those blue eyes. *giggles* Hyper-active little fella who kept running to our pit and throwing whatever he could get his hands on all around. but he was just tooo cute to yell at.lol. we were practically baby-sitting him throughout the night (his parents were at the cafe opposite) and i didnt mind AT ALL. there were a couple of times when our heart almost stopped though. when he tried to dash across the bicycle track to the cafe opposite. he looked left and right, and then ran across. now get this, he should do that. BUT WAIT. there was a bicycle coming and he just ran across! He was probably taught to look left and right before crossing the road but not to ACTUALLY look out for approaching vehicles! so he just stopped right there when we shouted for him to watch out, and the cyclist braked just right before him. PHEW. high maintenance.*wipes sweat*
anyway he played with us till he got attached to us and didnt want to leave when his mom came to get him.hah he actually hid under the table.and erm, ended up peeing in his pants, much to our amusement, AND HIS. LOL. but Jack left eventually. oh i miss him already.however,i had a great time with my classmates as well so all in all, another good day. dammit, i dont want this holiday week to ever end.
i do feel a little guilty for having fun because the people in london sure aint. i'm pissed about what's going on in the world, and i'm pissed that i cant do anything about it. dammit.
i hate racism. dont do it in front of my face.
Peace Is Fortune.

dilemma
i haven't decided whether or not to sell my guitar to Cash Converters. mom said they'll probably pay me like, 10 bucks for it, which is definitely a no-go for me. it costed $85, so the least i could go is 80...or..75 bucks?
then again, should i even sell it? i mean, it's my very first guitar.. and i do feel attached to it. But i want a new one. probably an accoustic one (which will likely be ex). thus the need for the money. and i cant sell the classical one because my tutor gave it to me. and she'd rather do that than sell it to CC. (gosh, the honour..) PLUS, her name's written at the bottom of it and it cant come off. i like it as well!
dilemma.
"Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day "

it's been a while.
i found this american punk cd shop at the back of arab street, somewhere in haji lane when i was meeting my client last week. how did i know it was american? and how did i know it was punk? well, the exterior walls were painted to be like the american flag. that's red, white, blue, and the stars. and they wrote some stuffs on the top that said "....only punk.." or something.
how can a shop like that be hidden behind the streets of haji lane? i wanted to enter it so badly but my friends didnt look interested, and i wasnt going in alone because the shop somehow gave me the impression that there'd be a biker-like big guy with tattoos all over his body and piercings everywhere standing behind the counter, staring at anyone who's looking at the cds. Yup, i wasnt going in alone. ALTHOUGH, i did say it was JUST an impression that it gave me. ok i'm a coward.
i wanna go there real soon. so someone, accompany me.
exam week. tmr to friday. bleagh.

Lifeboat
i dont know where to start. alot of things to be done recently and i cant help but wonder how much longer i can take this shit. i dont know.
i feel like there's so many things going on and i'm struggling to catch up. i dont seem to be that far behind, and yet i feel like there's a long road in front of me and people are all the way at the other end. there's no car for me. no bicycle. just my two feet. the subjects are getting harder to understand and the more we learn, the further i am behind...
and then the groupwork. there are four of us in a group for the IFCPROJ. Four. but it wasnt until i really sat down and thought about it, that i kinda realised that...i'm doing most of the work? it started off with me just copying down some pointers the teacher gave us. and then my leader started telling me to copy down everything. but that's alright. i mean, i could be the "copier" right? but then last week when our teacher reminded us to get ready our group file that would be inspected, she told me, "swee hoon, today must go buy the file. then go print out the stuffs. can find in the ole website k?"
does that mean....i'm supposed to do it? so i looked for the company, copied down everything, and have to get the file ready? ok, it might seem as though it's just these few things and not much of a big deal. but here's the thing. we're not even officially started on our project. and i'm doing everything already. yeah, this is everything for now. One's telling me to do all these stuffs, and the other two's not that involved yet. so y do i feel like i'm starting to stress out over this already? i mean, they're all my closest friends in class. am i being taken for granted, or am i just plain paranoid?
and then there's the other project on hand where we had to work in pairs. nothing wrong with my partner. except, he doesnt really like to talk much. so i dont know what he wants. every reply he gave me was," *shrugs* anything lor. u decide." and we hardly talk. i have to keep asking the questions if i ever want to get anything out of him. i'm tired.
recently, people around me started telling me that i look stressed these days. this is wrong. i'm not supposed to be like this. i was never this way. before, whenever i knew that i had alot of things to do, i could usually just give a "heck care" attitude to it and be like, "tomorrow's problems, tomorrow's worries." but now, when i think of all the work that have to done next week, it worries me. it just keeps on adding to my worries. i just keep thinking about it.
i dont know what's wrong with me. i want to talk about it, but at the same time... i dont. i just want to be alone. (i am so heading to the airport on friday)
lost.

this might sound surprising but the dreamweaver(IFCPROJ) class today was actually pretty ok. reason: there wasnt anyone there who was stressing me out with his/her constant yelling of not being able to open his/her files. usually i wont be able to, and i'll get a panic attack. heh.
not today. because only 9 out of 23 people went for the class. OBVIOUSLY, i'm one of them. yes, everyone else decided to skip today's class since they were getting nowhere with it and it was stressing the hell out of them. ok i know i was stupid to stay behind. i mean, i still feel so! but...i dont know.. it's just me. i swear i was so tempted but most of the time i dont use these opportunities. stupid, aint i?
but i it didnt really matter now that it's over. because the class was so quiet and peaceful, i was pretty relaxed. plus for the first time, my teacher actually helped us! :O
anyhow, i'm so crazy about Rooster right now. i know it's just a phase that wont last but RIGHT NOW, it's happening. heee heee. i liked them before but after watching "Rooster- Busking in the sun" on mtv where they busked accoustically at Orchard Road, i've become c-ra-zee about them. i loved how the guitarist played all the tunes. Like honestly, Luke, can u pleeeaaaase teach me how to play it like you? please? *twinkles eyes*
and i'm in love with Nick's voice. it's actually kinda sexy. ;) although i seriously think he needs to cut his hair.
i feel like buying Oasis' album as well. Somebody stop me!!!

cds have been my batteries in school these few days because i kinda lost my reciever last week and bro was kind enough to lend me his discman. i found my reciever last night, but decided to continue to bring along a much bigger, bulkier and heavier object(discman) because i found out that cds would be much nicer to listen to when i'm having non-productive moments (as compared to radio , that is).
it also gave me the opportunity to rate and comment on my newly-boughts. lol yes. havent exactly got the chance to listen to the albums completely due to..erm... uncontrollable, addictive cd purchases recently. they just kept rolling in. heh.
Reviews:
Lifehouse-Lifehouse: has a little chill-out-coffee-house flavour in it. might think that most of the songs sound similar the first time listening but after a couple of rounds, the songs actually have individuality and some of them are really good. great to listen to when u're alone in the room thinking about nothing. Favourite song: All In All. Seige-scale: 7.5/10
Rooster-Rooster: lots of pop-rock tunes in it. a couple of mellow rock/pop-ish songs. great album. :) Suitable to listen to at any time. Favourite song: To Die For. Seige-scale: 8.5/10
Keane (b***t lol)- Hopes and Fears: a couple of the songs are a little boring but lots of great tunes make up for it. very much different from the two above. nice to listen to when u're bored at night. or when u need music to put u to sleep(in a good way of cos). Favourite song: Everybody's Changing. Seige-scale: 7/10
Jack Johnson (*u*n*)- On and On: chill-out-coffee-house music. great tunes from the very talented surfer dude. very mellow and relaxing. suitable to listen to at night, and when u think u're way too stressed up. (thanks ANNA!!) Favourite song: Taylor. Seige-scale: 8/10
Coldplay- X&Y: um, u really have to judge this urself. u'll either love it or hate it. it'll probably take some time before it'd really grow on u. Favourite song: Fix You. Seige-scale: 7.5/10
and now..let me leave u with the lyrics of one of my favourites.
"i wanna live
and i wanna breathe
always thought you'd be the one to set me free
But i can forgive
cos you make me believe in something more
now i only want to live if i can find
Find somebody to die for"
Rooster- To Die For. (*claps*)
Rooney next!
NO WONDER i'm broke.

Nightmare on Tam Ave 21
dreamweaver just kills me. kills me all the time. and what's better? our teacher refused to teach us because she insisted that we should learn it ourselves only with the help of the book. plus, she also mentioned that we should already have basic skills since we are info-comms students. f off. we're still students, and dont generalise. THE LEAST she could do was help us when we needed it. that's what teachers are for...helping students. .....isnt it?
the dreamweaver class sucked (yea i'm sure you can tell by now) because apparently, what we did and saved last week(which consisted of unit A- unit D) was disabled. in other words, they were gone. naturally, most of us freaked out. sure, this wasnt something that we needed to hand up to the teacher, but without units A- D, how the hell were we supposed to continue units E-G, which SHE said we must complete by tomorrow's lesson?!? some lucky people saved their stuffs into their thumb drive, so they still had it. I DONT HAVE A DAMNED THUMB DRIVE.
trying to retrieve that stupid thing was freaking exasperating, and when people around me started managing to retrieve their stuff, boy, i almost had a panic attack. i havent got it yet, but i'm sure i'll have it real soon. you just wait and see. :) Anxiety disorder symptoms- coming up!
as if i didnt feel sick enough, on the bus back, this boy and girl (i typed boy because i decided he wasnt mature enough to be a guy yet) sitting right behind me kept "flirting" with each other in a i'm-just-playing-coy-but-you-should-know-i'm-flirting way. makes sense? of course, i refused to turn my head and look at them but i couldnt help listening to them. (oops!!! :P) and then she went like, "*laughs* no! no....*the back of my chair shakes* hahahah..no...*shakes again* dont want! very ugly..haha*chair feels her pushing and kicking*". -_-
a while later...
girl: *laughs*hey give me back my ic.
boy: lalalala
girl: ooi.. give me back my ic leh..
boy: *talks about another topic*
girl: ooi! wwhy u want my ic for what? give me back my ic.. give me back my ic lah..*chants "give me back my ic"*
oh my god. i almost wanted to turn around and beg him to give her back her ic so i'd actually have some PEACE!!! for crying out loud, BOY (he's definitely older than i am), give it back! give it back! *growls* and in case u were wondering, he still didnt give her back her ic when i arrived at my stop. wow.
ok, i know i complain alot. but that aside, something amazing happened. me and a classmate whom i always thought was a fierce, not-exactly-social guy who looked like he would beat me up if i stepped on his tail, actually conversed A sentence without him frowning and actually smiling a little. holy. it's history in making. i know it's just one sentence, but... he ACTUALLY DIDNT BEAT ME UP! :o Pen down today's date u guys.
more dreamweaver tmr. *grumbles* i just want it to be 1 pm immediately. i sooo need the "trip"(*winks at anna*) right now. thankfully, Tree Hill's back on tonight.

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!
time passes quickly when you're having fun. that is so true.
these days are passing by so slowly (no points for guessing how much fun i'm having :p). i can so fall asleep along this...endless journey.
heard from my friends that there's a new haunted house at Escape. anyone interested? not me. heh. i already said it once. i'm a scaredy cat, and anything involving the mysteries of the beyond and the invisible? not my cup of tea. Books, however, are different. *hums*
9 more days to her wedding (mmm...sheraton. i like)! i just need to make it through 9 more lousy days, oh i meant 8 *winks at anna*, and then...
"Ladies and Gentlemen, let us rise and and welcome...the bride and groom!"
*'American Idiot' plays in the background*
awesome.
totally. :)
wondering what this post has to do with my title? Nothing. i just wanted to capture ur attention ( because i know u can get bored reading my blog). heh. *looks away*
random: everyone loves the pavilion. WHY? oh yeah. it's me. *grins at anna* "DEFEAT AND CONQUER!" (honestly, i just drank coffee. it's the caffeine talking.)

we had inter class captain's ball game on sat. yea, i played. i volunteered. well only because they needed at least 2 females per team and none of the girls wanted to join at first. oh well, one has to start the ball rolling eh? anyway heard that there'd be cca points for that, so i'm not losing out on anything. :)
the captain's ball game really showed the other side of some people. in fact, i think any game like that would. it showed how competitive one could really get, and the crazy side of people i never thought i'd see in them. wow. ugly sportsmanship, good leadership, better bonding, over- competitiveness. all i can say is, "man..u had to be there."
i think that day helped a little. i mean, playing. it's been a while since i last played captain's ball and well, i guess you can say it brought back great memories. memories of secondary school days, where we had loads of fun playing that game NOT BECAUSE OF THE GAME, but because of the people we played with. Funny. because as it brought back old school memories, i swear i saw some of my sec 2 classmates playing soccer in my school. hmm.
back to school again. gah. but i have something to look forward to, so i think i'm gonna be in a pretty good mood as the day approaches. or at least, i hope. :D

feeling abit uncomfortable with some things going on around me... and that's not even about the studies. well i'll just have to wait and find out.
of course, i'm not saying that i'm comfortable with my studies. they're way beyond hope now. *shrugs* i dont know.

Dehydration
with regards to anna's post on wed, 1/6/2005 (go to link above, AGAIN), i'd just like to add on something else that has come to my attention and has terribly annoyed me.
the availibility of seats on the bus.
most singaporeans do this. sitting on the outer part of the seats when the inner part is empty. i dont have a problem with people doing that when there's lots of empty seats around. i mean, i do that sometimes too. But it's different when the bus is really crowded and there are people squeezing and trying to hold on to the bars or handles or whatever they can grab to stay balanced. and these people( meaning people sitting on the outer part when e inner is empty) just pretend to not sense what's going on and look out the window.
now that, pisses me off.
c'mon, it's not as if we have some fatal bacteria that will spread to them the moment there is any contact. there MIGHT NOT even be any. instead of being those selfish, inconsiderate people that they are (or will be the moment i start complaining), why cant they just move in and let someone else sit so that other standing people will have more space?are their butts really that heavy? are they?or do they have something against sitting on the inside because they're like, terribly allergic to inner bus seats and it's some rare disorder even doctors cant explain?
look, i get that sometimes they do that because it's only a few stops to theirs and they want to alight easily. nothing wrong with that. but at least come out a little so other people who WANT to sit can move in and take that place eh? dont pretend not to look at the crowd and look out the window. it doesnt work that way. seriously, havent u got the consideration at all?
on another note, school is killing me. i dont really get the stuffs anymore. like, stop this whole shit. i want nothing. and secondary-school-peer-relationship seems to be occurring. in a.. i really dont wanna talk about it.
one more day to the end of a school week. thank goodness. that is all that i can take..

am in the midst of waiting for my cousin's(the one i worked part-time with) approval for my group to create a website for my unc's company. have a feeling she might not want us to, because she already has someone who's also in the midst of creating one for them.
but she's got nothing to lose, really. cos the website we'll be creating will only be shown on my school's IFC server, which means she doesnt have to show it to anyone else in the ouside world if she dislikes it. n if she does, she can also put it up on the net. plus, it's free. would you want it?
it's kinda pressurizing right now because my friends are putting high hopes on me. they kinda have the concept that since we're cousins, it should be easier and that we wouldnt need to waste time searching for other registered company(deadline's around friday or so). well, it might be a little, but at the end of the day, if she rejects our offer, i cant do anything about it. we cant force her. it's not that she has to. it's the company's choice.
well, i hope she does!
*shrugs*i just hope my friends wont hate me if this doesnt work. heh

My Confessions
Dear Phil,
Ever since you left me, i havent been the same person. We've been together for 7 years or so, and you've never once left my side. You were such a part of my life.
Whenever i was down, you were there to lift my spirits. Whenever i was happy, you were there to make me happier. Whenever i was bored, you were the one who entertained me. We shared so many good times together. You were my heart, my life, my soul. You were the best thing that ever happened to me.
But now that you're gone, things feel different. Everytime i look at the place you used to sit at, i feel empty, like a part of me was missing. It's hard watching you leave, bringing along all the fun times we shared with you. i cant believe i just watched you leave and not say anything to stop that. But i had no choice. It really wasnt easy.
i'm trying to get use to life without you in my room, but it's probably gonna take some time. I miss you badly. Damn. Thanks for the days though, and the nights especially. :) Thanks for keeping me crazy.
Love you always,
Your ex-owner.
Yes, u guys, my tv's gone (to my parents room, for good). *sobs*
ok, just leave the number to the psychiatrist that you want me to see at the comments box.

Slack-Day
today was basically a day to slack, really(yes, u can tell from the title).
1st lesson was Engineering Fundamentals, which was supposed to last for 2 hrs(2 periods). However, according to our lab teacher, we were supposed to go through the lecture for it before he could teach us the lab work but since the lecture was on mon(which was a public holiday), we didnt know anything. thus, instead of ending at 11 am, he let us off at 9.30am. felt freaking good.
we headed as a big group(almost the whole class) towards Mensa during break. it was pretty cool just sitting in a 3/4 empty canteen, drinking iced milo(with friends) and staring at the fountains. but then we realised how boring it would get later in the day.
here's our original timetable for the day:
9-11: EngFund
11-12: Emath Lec
12-1: Break
1-2: PSPS1 (tut)
2-4: IFCPROJ1
our IFCPROJ teacher couldnt make it, thus we all thought we could leave at 2. imagine the happiness. however, in comes our CP who told us that we had to go for a briefing at 4pm, which meant we will have 2 hrs of break in between.
now here's our new timetable for the day:
9-9.30:EngFund
9.30-11: break (because the teacher cant teach)
11-12:EMath lecture
12-1: break. (lunch)
1-2:PSPS1 tutorial.
2-4: break (AGAIN~)
4-?: bullshit briefing(compulsory)
at the second break, the whole group of headed to the library to explore, and yea, our plan was to rent a movie to watch. so we headed to level 6(or 7. i cant recall) and started looking for a movie to watch within that hour. but like i said, there were too many of us and we couldnt all agree on ONE movie. Thus, we ended up not watching any. lol. so we pretty much just sat somewhere and slacked.
now OBVIOUSLY, no one wanted to go to the bull briefing. so here and there some said they werent going, and some said they didnt feel like going. but we couldnt just leave our class rep alone now, could we? and plus, the CP did call me to tell me. i would be in trouble if i didnt show. i didnt know what went on but all of a sudden, we were all going together to look for our CP to question him about it. eventually, our miracle was this sheet of paper. i didnt know what it said but eventually, it wasnt us who needed to go for the briefing. it was the IBT students. well, that's according to what my friends said. so, our already-blur CP got more blur, and went like, "oh..oh.. ok then u guys can leave." smirks' up people! lol.
to be honest, i dont know if it really was for the IBT students or that my friends had very scheming and wonderful brains to overpower our CP's with that "confusing trick" of theirs. oh what the hell? whatever it was, it worked for us anyway. *grins*
on another note, the whole cca thing is driving me crazy. some say cca points will help in the entry of local uni. but ccas arent compulsory. my problem is, i'd prefer to enter overseas' uni but local unis are cheaper. but then having a cca would definitely affect my studies because i know i'm gonna need to spend a lot of time understanding Java. and ccas would be in the evening. however, if i'll ever end up wanting to enter a local uni, i'd lose out because i wouldnt have cca points. plus, "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy."... but i really wont have time for it.

ok it's been a while. here's an update of what's been going on.
Orientation Day 2:
funny. all of us acted like we've known one another for a long time. everyone started chatting TOGETHER and i thought it was nice. we even had lunch together.well, that's because lunch was to be eaten in class. still, we pushed our tables together so that we could all chat while eating. i'm glad that all in all, the class is pretty cool. :) or at least, the claws havent come out yet. but right now, i like these friends.
the day again, was pretty much hot and.. well yea. learning the cheers and stuffs, very secondary school. *yawns* although, i must say that i have very enthusiastic mentors who can sometimes get to you. hmm.
now the night was different. we had inter engineering diplomas competition where each diploma was supposed to send a grp of performers to perform or something. that was kinda boring at first, because people were acting out lame skits and sketches that really bored me. really. especially the over exaggerated acting of some people who wanted to steal the limelight. gee. no offence to them tho'.heh. there was this grp tho, who performed a dance to "Jerk It Out" by the Caesars that freakishly entertained me. props to that.
then came "Scavenger Hunt". *grins* the host started naming out things they wanted and each diploma had to find those stuffs amongst themselves. stuffs like ten 1 cent coins, 1 plastic $10 note, 3 pink shoelaces(and stuffs)..... 8 pairs of trousers/pants and 10 t-shirts. Lol. yes. it didnt take a while before i could see guys topless or in their boxers prancing around the indoor sports hall. uh huh. n there were these two who were left with nothing but their boxers. no shirts, no pants. *laughs* yup, info-comms won the overall games.
Orientation Day 3:
nothing much to say.
Monday (23.5.05):
friends, i finally got to get out of singapore. *nods* yep i did. I GOT OUT OF SINGAPORE!!! dad's idea of going to Malacca for a day trip. we set off around 8.30 am and reached home around 11.15pm. it really was a day-trip. totally made use of the day i'm telling you. totally. i love my dad for having such a great sense of direction! he practically knows most of malaysia at the back of his hands. we went from malacca to muar to batu pahat to JB, bro and i took pictures with a snake (mom REFUSED to let me touch her after that lol), raced with fellow singaporean cars and bought the delicious Portugese Egg Tarts! they're really delicious! mmm yum. i'm drooling already. oh wait, i can just go grab one and eat it right now. awww arent u just so envious? (this doesnt apply to non egg tart eating readers :P) Had the time of my life. the only thing that got on my nerves was the check in area. apparently, my passport photo's a little unrecognisable because e picture was a photo of a 5 yr old girl who happened to not look like me. took us a while to pass through the customs. (in case u're still wondering, that photo was ME..)
Today:
teachers, stop trying to remind us we're in tertiary education now. we know. i'm having really bad post holiday blues. wish i am still having fun in malaysia right now. :(
Orientation Day 2:
funny. all of us acted like we've known one another for a long time. everyone started chatting TOGETHER and i thought it was nice. we even had lunch together.well, that's because lunch was to be eaten in class. still, we pushed our tables together so that we could all chat while eating. i'm glad that all in all, the class is pretty cool.

I DO
*clears throat* ladies and gentlemen, i am officially invited to my cousin's wedding banquet.
my aunt came up yesterday and gave us the cake and the invitation card. *beams* i know it might seem like this is just another wedding banquet, and there's no reason for me to get all excited. but well, it's been years since i last attended one so..it's fun to attend one again.
and now, get ready as i announce the cold, hard, truth about me that might shock everyone out there who knows me. (Viewer Discretion advised.)
another reason why i'm excited about the wedding is because...
I cant wait to dress up.
okok, u're allowed to scream and run around the room in pure madness.
but once you've settled down, believe it. it's true. here's just something i'd like to clarify with everyone. People, i DO WEAR SKIRTS, ok? i might not wear them when i'm out shopping or whatsoever but that's because i just dont think they're very comfortable for doing all that. BUT i DO wear them at special functions. SO please dont make a big HOOHAA when u see me in them. really, what's the big deal?*raises eyebrow* every girl loves to dress up, and that includes me. it's just that sometimes i cant really be bothered so, u see me as who i am. but there are times when i do dress up so stop freaking out!
i'm just not at the making-up stage yet. heh. but when i do(which will probably be years from now *runs away from anna*), dont make a big deal out of it. Your calm composure and non exaggerated reaction is kindly appreciated. :)
random: tmr's my last day of work! muaha.

i want to go to Rooster's showcase here in singapore! but darn it, it's on my 2nd day of school. ah crap. plus, i dont know if i wanna fight with other people for space and curse at them for pushing..ever again. oh i hope they show the showcase on MTV. (or i shall write in and command them to lol)

340 degrees turn
forget about my rantings on thursday. i finally got Lifehouse's cd. :)
well, actually i wanted to get 3 Doors Down's cd yesterday, so met anna after work to go get it. we decided to go sembawang music centre (cos cds there are cheaper) and in the search for Seventeen Days, i saw Lifehouse. i swear it wasnt there on thursday. i'm sure about that. so anna's my lucky star. :)
met some friends i havent seen in quite a long time for dinner. it was pretty nice and all, but i realised we've all grown into different people. and we've all gone down different routes. seeing them in uniforms reminded me that school was gonna start real soon for me and i'm not ready. ok, more like, i dont wanna be ready. 6 months of that made me this way. heh. but that aside, found out that one of my friends is going to be taking air nautical(air force stuffs) in poly and i think that is SO COOL. she's a girl, btw. *smiles*
almost went to watch House Of Wax last night but figured that the movie would end around midnight, and there'll be no transport back home. PLUS, i didnt really feel like watching that movie at night. it'd be disturbing. thankfully, found out from jean just now that it was a sadistic film, and (now if u dont wanna know what happened yet, SCROLL DOWN NOW!) jared padelecki was the first to die! *sobs* and turns out everyone died and became wax figures in the end except for chad michael murray and i think that elisha girl. thank god i havent watched it(even tho i really had the urge to do so). i'm afraid of digusting/disturbing/sadistic/horror movies. but i'm not afraid to admit that.
prisc' birthday today so we went out, did loads of dumb stuffs(including bowling which i tremendously improved since the last time!lol) and took some pathetically weird photos. *laughs* i am such an un-photogenic person. bleagh. Something kinda turned me off though, but i'm not gonna mention it. and the weather sucks big time. i really need to experience one day of winter to let me appreciate this. let it snow, let it snow!
my mom got a mother's day present. it was a classy and trendy dinner purse/bag that suited her. i saw her smirk. she loves it. haha. man, the person who gave her that is so thoughtful and has a good eye for a classy buy.
oh yea, that's me.

#!@%$^&*#
it rained. it rained! i was supposed to feel happy. but the rain seemed to dampen my mood instead. and now, i shall rant about it.
1) the batteries for my reciever ran out on my way back to Tampines. it's quite a long ride, thus i needed my reciever to keep me awake and blast me with music i love. but that damned old thing that i had since p5(the colour's fading away) just had to run out of batteries. on a rainy day. And do not attempt to suggest to me to get an ipod. i cant afford it.
2) i cant get the Lifehouse cd. went to music junction to look for it but they didnt have it (i kinda expected them to). knowing that sembawang music centre wont have it, i still tried. but nope, no Lifehouse. i'm desperate to get a new cd. the last cd i got was Five For Fighting's which i bought like, 2 yrs ago. i want new music! (oh and yes, my discman's spoilt too. everything's old and spoilt. <-just had to add that.) Was considering The Killers,but.. i wanted Lifehouse first(i know, now it sounds like i'm ironic. hah.). the one selling at Borders' was $23.90/28.90 which is just too ex. Tampines should just import more cds! bleagh.
3) Now that i think about it, i should have just gotten 3 Doors Down's Seventeen Days!! totally forgot about it. argh!
4) wanted to make myself feel better by buying mocha frap. but guess what y'all? Starbucks rose the price! dammit! i know i could have gotten something else(heh) but i wanted mocha frap, and when it didnt work my way, it's like, "ah forget it."
HOWEVER, i found something that made me feel better after that. Waffles with cheese. mm..yum. thankfully, it's thursday. which means, sit-by-the-tv-as-they-play-shows-that-you-love-night.i just hope last week's everwood wasnt the last episode( tho i have a feeling it was). *breathes*
yea i know. i'm such a whiner.

last weekend was great. went out with my brother and cousins. it was a great deal of fun.
working for my cousin(another one)? not that fun.not that she's not nice or anything. it's just the job. but it's all fine.
daydreamed the whole afternoon at work. the scene of my father announcing to the family that we're going to New Zealand kept appearing in my head. and my reaction kept appearing too. it went something like this.
*my reaction*:
"WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! *picks up phone and dials Anna's number*"
somebody give me the number to a psychiatrist please? thanks alot.
ps: if any of u have a great recipe to a good meal, please email me or let me know about it eh? (i'm planning to whip up a little meal for my momma on sunday.) thanks again.

ah yes. god answered my prayers. i woke up yesterday, and the pain, GONE! and he gave me an extra too. i got out of my room, and VOILA, RAIN! it actually rained!! all that grumpiness just left my body immediately when i saw those lovely drops of water from the sky. mmm..
work was alright. at least i could use the computer.. to um, draw stuffs(i told you there was no internet!) on "Paint". beats doing crossword puzzles that i've been doing for the past few days.hee.
met jean after work to buy stuffs at TM. now read this. she parked her bicycle at the stands in between tampines branch office and the interchange, and i saw her locking it. so an hr later..
me:" so where's your bike?(i didnt recognise her bike among all others)"
jean: " erm, yea. where's my bike?"
her bike got stolen! I cant believe someone could actually cut through the locks and steal a bike in front of so many people in broad daylight. gee. and the police here? not very efficient. took like an hr to get to the the interchange. An hour! unless they came from jurong, an hour is.. way too long. if i got stabbed, i'd have died. sheesh.
anyhow, i think i'm getting too used to life without school. it's gonna be exactly 6 months of break on May 23rd(school opens on 24th) since the 1st day of the hols. which is why while everyone else worked for the past 5 months and are taking their break now for the final month, i'm actually working for the final month. well, it's not that i wanted to, but now that i am, it actually gets me a bit ready for school i guess.for one, the waking up bit. at least i think i can make it to school on time now that i can wake up earlier than 11. heh. i think. the bus i take to work every morning passes Temasek Poly and everyday i'll be counting down to the day where i will actually be getting off at that stop.
time passes so quickly when u're slacking.

work today started out plain boring. i was all alone in the office sticking stickers for 500 bottles of moisturising serum. and my reciever chose the right day not to recieve any proper channel for my kind of music.
fine.
then i got a call and had to do some heavy stuffs. and i felt something after doing it. now i'm feeling all the discomfort and i think i physically hurt myself. the more i think about it, the more it pisses me off. in fact, i feel like shit now.physically. god, please let it be over by tomorrow.
fook.

it's been 3 yrs since i last got out of singapore.
it's been 9 yrs and nearly 5 months since i last took a plane.
I want to get out of SINGAPORE!
it doesnt have to be for good. JUST FOR A BREAK! i've been stuck in this tiny town in this tiny island for so long, i'm so sick of everything! i'm sick of going out because i've been to places around for nearly a million times, and it just gets more boring each time. and as much as i love my home, i'm sick of having nowhere else to go but home. i just wanna get out of singapore. that's all. it could be a 2-day trip to malaysia. i REALLY dont mind(ok, maybe a 3-day trip would be better). i need a break from this country. and according to what i've been told, we should be able to travel real soon..next year.
oh ggggrreeeaaaattt!
8 more months!whee.
i.am.so.sick.of.this.place. I'm stuck here, really.
on a lighter note, i'm really looking forward to the weekend! long weekend! now i get why a public holiday is like a gift from heaven to working people. ok i exaggerated. but to me, it seems so now! *grins* WEEKEND! WEEKEND! WEEKEND! *chants*
Random note: Hey the dude driving the dull silver/grey van downstairs, don't speed in the carpark, man. It doesnt make u look cool, especially if u're driving a van. And if u make that same loud noise u did just now tonight, u're an ass. :)

i just love Queer Eye For A Straight Guy. No, i didnt just rename the dating show Eye For A Guy. It's totally different. For one, it's US based. this show is funny, entertaining, interesting(in a "ooh..interesting" way) and best of all, it's gay.
I'm not insulting the show. In fact, the casts of the show self admitted to be gays on search for straight guys. No kidding. Sounds interesting? read on.
if u thought that this show was abt gays trying to look for partners? sorry to disappoint you, it's not. :) well it's actually about this 5 guys who at every episode, go to a "straight" guy's house and gets him ready for whatever BIG things he has on for the night.(eg. a party with girls coming over, impressing his boss or something.). So 1 guy's for grooming(how u should shave), one for styling(what u should wear), one for food and wine(what u should cook and can cook), one for interior design(to transform the pig sty into a chatteau) and one for culture(for erm.. well.. culture). lol.
so this is an all-guy show. it's all about guys. But i think more ladies watch it. because there're just soo many tips to learn, and best of all, the 5 guys(they call themselves the Fab 5) make u feel like, u've found ur best friends! lol. They basically transform BIG, TOUGH , ROUGH (and sometimes egoistic) guys into guys who're sentimental, stylish, clean, and cool. i dont know if u'll call that a good or a bad thing now, lol, but what attracts me is that guys get to have a different side too!! and it's really nice to see some guys really taking the effort to groom themselves before the event. i still say this... it's an all-guy show but it's such a lady friendly show.
i wish the Fab 5 could be my best friends. lol. they'll be like, my "sisters" i'm telling ya. Well actually, they're not GAY. they're just girlie.(but they admit so). courage man. the groomer and the cook arent that girlie anyway. it's just really the stylist who could really be my sister. he sashays when he walks, and demanded a kis from the straight guy at one episode. On the cheek that is. lol and the surprising thing was, it didnt even send chills down my spine. i just felt like it was a guy pecking a girl on the cheeks. CAN U IMAGINE THAT NOW? lol. love it.
now dont bother bugging me and asking me which channel it is on, because it's on the m'sian channel. hah. but u can always try tuning it if u want. or maybe mediacorp will show it one day.
if u werent so much interested in all that crap i just wrote, hah, i'm sorry u had to scroll past those. here's a few things abt my weekend. had a great one, because something really good happened that sent my parents grinning from ear to ear. and as for me? hey i benefitted to.*grins* i can't tell u. so dont ask.
anyway, we went to the supermarket yesterday and my parents did a "heineken" advert thingy. my mom was trying to reach for something on top of the shelf, and my dad came, took it down, stared at my mom, hugged the thing and walked away. hilarious i tell you.
okay i'm tired and head's bursting.
i'm so addicted to mocha right now. Random.

i'm so addicted to mocha right now. Random.

New Job old work?
working in the office aint that bad. it aint as boring as u think it will be.
well that's because u dont have time to be bored.
there was so much to be done. to start off, replacing stocks. getting them ready. looking for boxes. garh i hate that. climbing the ladder to take them down. so many boxes! but it's ok. cos i did my own little "map" of where the stocks were and which row it was, and which level and blah. :)
Filing. i have to say that as much as i hated filing worksheets for school in the past, i really didnt mind filing it today. i don't know why, but somehow it seemed different. plus, i get my own table. that's cool. (altho the comp doesnt log on to the internet =X ) loads of filing had to be done.
Faxing, photocopying, answering phone calls.Posting letters. Running errands. Stapling letters and putting them in their own groups.
i was getting all nerdy when i suddenly saw this letter that had my mom's name on it. and the letter behind, and the letter behind, and the one behind..and.. Oh. that was the filing that SHE did in 2000. and i'm re-filing it. i got more alive. hey, i was doing something my mom did! :)
and what makes this better than the last job i had?
i could break anytime i want. *smiles*
tiring as it is, but i could get use to this.

woke up at 1230 pm just now. 3rd time since last week. dont be surprised. i slept at near 4 last night(or this morning). and it's not that i wanted to. i just couldnt sleep. i've become so used to late nights, i have to sleep around that time now. what am i going to do when school starts? darn. tmr's my last chance to wake up in the afternoon though, cos dad's coming back from china tmr night. i shall read myself to sleep tonight. :)
anyway, i was flipping through The Straits Times and came across the article "US child sex criminals getting away with it". Plain disturbing. Pure, plain disturbing. i cant believe there could be so many cases of the same kind happening in the US. molesting children and then murdering them after that? and those cases just keep happening everywhere. i dont understand how those bastards manage to kidnap the kids playing right in their own backyards. i mean, right here in singapore, it's possible because we're living in HDBs and void decks are easy places. but in the US? I shudder even at the thought of it. Ruthless.
note to self: you still love the other stuffs about america. yes, you do.

i think Eye For A Guy 2 is going to be weird. it's not the show. it's denise keller being in it.
dont get me wrong. there's nothing wrong with her. in fact, she's really cool, and definitely a lot prettier than the last girl. what's her name? rachel..lee? yes (see i cant even remember her name). Plus, denise is a VJ on MTV Most Wanted. how much cooler can your road go?....Which is why i feel that her being on Eye For A Guy is so weird. cos i didnt think she'd need this to look for guys. i was always under the impression that she'd be the one making fun of the show than be on it.
What's up with VJs being on mediacorp shows? gee
anyhow, i think i'll watch the 1st episode and then decide if it's dumb. lol. (ps: she suits mark zee way better than rachel lee.) *grins*
WHICH REMINDS ME. MTV Most Wanted still owes me my Alanis Morisette CD!!!!! i won the cd and they were supposed to send it to me LAST MAY!!! c'mon u guys! where's my damned cd?!?

*WARNING*: if u have a political point of view, please do not read the following entry.
i think the whole c-j(they're country names) issue is a plain waste of time.
yes, if u guys hate each other, stay out of each other's way. don't do anything related to each other. back off each other's property and business. yes u have your differences, and i'm in no position to say who's right and who's wrong. what happened in the past, happened. u cant change history. but if u think by protesting and fighting with each other would help u gain back what u lost in the past(eg. dignity, pride), u're wrong. OK, maybe u will. but it'll also seem that another war will be inevitable. and then other countries will be dragged into e war too, and fathers, sons, brothers and husbands will all have to go to war. even tho that country didnt start it. and then women will lose their men and... OK NOW, WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT? Forgive me, i think too much.heh.
in other words, what i'm trying to say is,
DON'T BE RETARDED.
Why create one now when u took so much pain and time to end the last?
Now, i know many of u might think,"what the hell is this girl talking about?? there's no war brewing or going on!". but i'm just saying, certain unhappiness here and there might force one to happen. it can be prevented by us, but it can also be created by us.
i think it's time these Miss Universes and Miss Worlds come out to do something.
"WORLD PEACE."
u go girls!

Grandpa
for the first time in my life, i feel like i'm losing him. it never occurred to me, even when he suffered a stroke. because that was 4 or 5 years ago, and he's always been quite so normal. although he couldnt talk or walk anymore, he could still smile or frown to tell us if he's feeling okay. he used to grip my hand really tightly when i held his. he used to look at me and smile, as my mother re-introduced me to him to help him remember me. he always did. it might take a while, but he always did.
but yesterday, it disappeared. the regconisation. we went into his room and again, mom did the re-introduction thing. but this time, he just stared blankly at us, like we're some strangers. mom asked him if he regconised who we were, and he looked at us with his sunken eyes, and gave no reaction. i told mom that maybe he couldnt hear us, so she went to his ear, and asked again. no reaction. he just looked at us, and made no movement or facial expressions. mom said he probably did not regconise us anymore, and left the room. she's not showing it, but i know she's sad.
there i was, all alone in the room with him. for the first time, i really noticed how old he was. his face sunken, his eyes watery and shrunken, his arms and legs became so thin. he looked like one of the POWs. he's paralysed on the right side of his body, and he eats through a tube that goes through his nose. he laid on his bed with no expression, and when i held his hand, i couldnt feel any hard grip this time. he was looking at me, like i was some stranger holding his hand. i kept smiling at him and kept asking him if he knew me. no answer. he just kept looking at me. that was the first time i really felt connected to him. REALLY. for the other times, the age was just a number in my head that didnt bother me because he still seemed pretty strong. but this time, it felt that he was 95. and 95 IS old.
you might think that i'm bad, unfilial or cruel, but suddenly i feel that it'd be better for him, if...
he's suffering. u can see it. mom said it too. if he can walk, talk, or at least smile at me again, then there's no reason to. but he cant even say anything, not even a sound to complain to us. he cant get up to bathe or anything. the maid does everything. u can see that she's really tired too. i dont like the him suffering- in silence.
there's nothing i can say really, because i dont think he knows me anymore. but i love him. guess i'll just let nature take it's course.

Still Not Getting Any- u got it.
yesterday was a real bad day, really.
the whole day didnt work out right. we did so much walking, met so many witches and demons, and basically, our luck sucked. as usual. okay. let me start with the queueing. the concert was supposed to start at 8pm, and anna and i were there at around 3. her friends were already there to queue for us so that's not a big deal. and when we popped in to see how many people were in front of us, there was only around 30-40.. Okay. so now, that means we're in the front 10 rows right? cool. BUT NO. apparently, people started cutting in between groups and squeezed in. oh so now u think u're gonna be in the front few rows huh?
THINK AGAIN. when the security guard announced that they were gonna let us in in groups of 10 at around 6 plus, everyone stood up and the people behind started pushing and screaming. i felt like i was gonna fall loads of times.. everyone's like swaying to the left, and then to the right. hey, as if i'm not annoyed enough, people from the back started squeezing and pushing their way to the front and that whole queueing thing? gone. no more lines can be seen cos everyone's just fighting their way to the front. f*** off people and stop pushing!!! i was so pissed at the asses behind me, i really wanted to volunteer to go the very end of the queue instead of being pushed around. but i couldnt even move back. and the guards kept asking us to stand, sit, stand and sit. bad move. however, i must say that there was this really nice guy who let me move in front to anna cos we were kinda seperated. thanx dude! things got to the point where policemen and women came in to try to bring order. and the gig hasnt even started yet! people were shouting" stop pushing!!" here and there and this group of caucasion girls next to me actually said, "ok, push.". dammit. it's people like them who's giving us a hard time. and i thought all westerners were nice people.
Convention Hall 601-
so we finally got our spot. but i'm so short everyone in front towered me. darn. that's not even the start of the problem. more people came in and started pushing and squeezing behind us. we're totally like sardines.i couldnt even jump! i was freaking pissed and hot and everyone taller then me were definitely stealing my air. Then there was this particular group of caucasions and this chinese girl(friends of pug jelly i think) with a nice accent i should say and they looked like they were so enjoying tho everyone was pushing. lol but the guy shouted a lot of stuffs like," hey if u guys stop pushing i'd take off my shirt for u!" and "hey bitches! stop pushing, man, a girl's fainted!( and just in case u were wondering? no, no one fainted)" MWAHA.
ok ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce u to this little witch.she's this girl standing behind me (who's shorter than me) who kept pulling my shoulders and pushing it down, and jumping with her arms on them, up and down.she was so close to me and she kept moving, i felt like she was humping me! u know, stuffs animals do when they need ***? i think so. i heard it on The Osbournes. geez! stop it! oh and before that, everyone started pushing to the left, then the right, and suddenly my row of people fell to right like a domino effect. everyone fell on the person next to them, and i fell on anna, who fell on her friend. they were all on my legs so it was damn heavy, and we were all on anna's legs, which sucked too. i was trying to lift my body up a little so anna wouldnt hurt so much but it wouldnt work. we took such a while to get up! damn that was scary! and that got me really pissed.
couldnt hear what Pug Jelly was singing cos the "humper" kept screaming into my ear, and grabbing my shoulders to jump up and down. i so felt like turning behind to push her and scream at her to shut up!!! what a *toot*. the only thing i heard halfway was Come Home Soon's chorus, when everyone started singing "down down down".."love love love". so of cos, i sang along(lol) but i wasnt enjoying myself cos i couldnt jump! after Pug ended, i couldnt take it anymore cos i knew that when Simple Plan came out, everyone would push more. so we eventually went to the back (sorry anna dear, i know u wanted to be in front). that was when i realisd that the back was soooooo spacious!!! there was even space for u to put stuffs! and cos SP wasnt out yet, there were sooo many people sitting down. GOD. the best part was...THERE WAS AIR FOR ME TO BREATHE!!! and i could see the stage!! damn i should've just went to the back in e first place. so spacious, so big, and u can breathe, and jump! ooh things were getting better.
Simple Plan finally came out at around 9 and everyone stood up and started screaming. ME INCLUDED(i kept "woohoo-ing"). HARHAR. Things WERE getting better. and then they started singing.oh things were lovely. i was on cloud nine. i cant really describe the feeling now, but i was totally like, there. i just kept jumping and swaying and singing at the top of my lungs, i bet my classmates wouldnt believe that was me if they had seen it. lol. and note this. there were sooo many parents at the back! mostly caucasions, and boy, do they rock! this dad knew the lyrics to at least the chorus to most of the songs!!!!!even "I'm Just A Kid" and "Grow Up".. so funny but damn cool!!!!! and this mom in front of me was rocking to the songs, and her husband was carrying her son(maybe 8 or 9 yrs old) on his shoulders, jumping to it too! These parents, are so cool. and nope, didnt see no singaporean parents doing so. basically they were either standing at the sides with the impatient look on their faces, or they were downstairs waiting. BORING. *yawns*
So anyway, i knew the lyrics to almost every single song, and was basically having the time of my life. they sang "Untitled" and "Crazy" which they havent sang anywhere else yet. WOOOOOOAHH! I LOVED IT! all in all they sang a total of 19 songs! can u imagine??? 19! including "i believe in a thing called love" and "happy together" which was pretty impressive..But my favourite would have to be.. "Perfect". the whole accoustic start with everyone singing. totally cool.
and i must add that chuck, man of the night. lol
the night ended well. but my ears are still muffled now!!! can somebody tell me if that's normal before i go see the doctors? i cant hear things properly now and it's all blur. ANYBODY!

went down to orchard on friday with anna. were supposed to do shopping or something, and yea, have mudpie.but man, i'm telling you, we're such whiners. we decided to have a proper lunch before the mudpie and thus, Student's Meal at burger king. some proper lunch that was. but damn, the meal was so freaking filling! the burger was huge, and the chicken piece was large. i guess u can call that proper now?
so we walked around some areas again and again and again, like, repeatedly. and we weren't exactly very active. and i was getting sleepy. so we were whining about being tired, whining about our legs hurting, whining about being sleepy. and it was only around 2+. it's so dumb, cos there's only the two of us, and we're both whining, to each other. why couldnt we just agree and leave then?lol. i don't recall. but then anna decided that we should just go to nydc for mudpie, and then leave. afterall, that's pretty much one of the reasons why we went to orchard for. plus, anna's treating. =)
NYDC. hm. Mudpie. mmmm. i've never had one, so i didnt exactly know what a mudpie tasted like.we ordered the cookie monster mudpie and it tasted, like heaven. BLESS e creator of that mudpie.bless u!! that was a freaking good mudpie y'all! but of course, we had to order drinks to quench ourselves cos hey, that mudpie? CHOCOLATE-Y. *drools*(how many "mudpie"s have i mentioned so far?) so silly old me decided to order an iced peach elephancinno while anna had lemon shiver. when my drink came, i was like, "what." it was, jumbo-sized. kinda like a cookie jar. darn it! i was already sooo full! like, how was i to know it'd be huge??? ok, so maybe "elephancinno" did hint something, but i'm not that smart to know what it was hinting! and yes, u guessed it. couldnt finish the drink. practically struggled to drink half of it. need i remind u that the burger king meal was filling? says it all. so we whined again. being full, anna being cold, needing to go to e toilet, blah blah blah. anna, we're never gonna make it in hongkong. ANYHOW, i brought 100 bucks for shopping, and ended up buying a $10 pants. message to all: u're looking at el cheapo here.
so yesterday, my parents and i went to this shop to change our video tapes(of us in NZ and aus) into vcds. it was way cheaper, compared to others. plus, the lady boss of the shop was my dad's and bro's friend. lol. but one thing tho. it was all the way at boon lay. so the whole car ride was me reminiscing through the entire australia trip, and i'm surpirsed i could remember sooo many details! is it really true that u can only remember stuffs from primary one onwards? because i certainly dont remember anything about both new zealand trips! and dad said it's probabaly true. or maybe it's just my poor memory. yea, i think so.
i finally bought a voice recording radio! have been looking for a 2nd hand or cheap one for so long and i finally got it from e lady. she charged me 29 bucks for it when it's original price was 30+. and she charged my dad 35 bucks for this speaker when it costed $39. and e thing was, we didnt even ask her to do so. she was so sweet(and quite pretty, i might add), she even gave me a 90 min casette tape for free! *smiles* cool, i finally get my recorder to erm, do stuffs. YES!

so we walked around some areas again and again and again, like, repeatedly. and we weren't exactly very active. and i was getting sleepy. so we were whining about being tired, whining about our legs hurting, whining about being sleepy. and it was only around 2+. it's so dumb, cos there's only the two of us, and we're both whining, to each other. why couldnt we just agree and leave then?lol. i don't recall. but then anna decided that we should just go to nydc for mudpie, and then leave. afterall, that's pretty much one of the reasons why we went to orchard for. plus, anna's treating. =)
NYDC. hm. Mudpie. mmmm. i've never had one, so i didnt exactly know what a mudpie tasted like.we ordered the cookie monster mudpie and it tasted, like heaven.
YES!

I cannot wait!!! plus on a side note, i suppose Pug Jelly will be their opening act. wow..i dont believe this. it's happening.
Simple Plan, here i come!!!

so i received a call early in the morning around 830 am to check my posting of course. mom anxiously passed me the phone. she was freakingly more anxious then i am. i kept telling her to relax and it doesnt matter where i was posted to cos i'm ok with anything, as long as it's not property development. also i had only fallen asleep arnd 4+ and was freakingly sleepy.
i got into info-communications.
so.
whoopee?
here's the story. mom burst when she found out i'm in info-comms. she got all worked up, saying that it was a stupid course or something. u see, in her mind, there was only one course that she wanted me to get in. Hospitality and Tourism Management.and yes, that was in my first choice. ok, i do have a preference for that course, but like i said, any course is fine with me as long as it's not the one stated above.but no. it doesnt work that way for her. for these past few weeks, she's been asking me stuffs abt HTM and all, telling me to borrow books about it and stuffs. but i kept reminding her that i might not get into HTM and that i'll borrow books for the course i'm studying, WHEN I KNOW WHICH IT IS. so basically, HTM has been planted in her head. for a very long time.
she gave me that oh-my-goodness-it's-the-end-of-the-world behaviour.exploded.erupted.bits and pieces of ashes falling everywhere.she acted like it's over. over. so there i am, looking at the course name, and there she was, shrieking and stuffs. so that got me pissed off. like nuts. i was sleepy. so it's not gonna help if u stand there and act all crazy. plus she kept saying that it was a stupid course.stupid course. stupid course. stupid course. WILL YOU STOP IT??? what do u know about the course that makes it stupid? she doesnt even know what that course is about.but again, she only planted HTM in her head.
yes, i'm not that excited about it. i'm an idiot with computers. but the guy there said they'll teach u everything, so i suppose that's okay right? but NO. MOM refuses to think so. she didnt even give me a chance to describe that course. she just kept saying it was bad, stupid and all, and i got pissed off so badly, i was telling her not to piss me off any further early in the morning. she continued, and woke my dad up and was all like,"aiya..she got into info comms...aiyo.."with that voice i hate. the voice that makes me feel guilty and stuffs. the oh-my-god-it's-the end-of-the-world voice.
that's it. piss-ed off.
dad woke up and was like, "what's the big fuss all about??" and my mom was all like, i'm in info comms and die.. it's bad and all.. and dad was like, " info comms, info comms lah! why r u so worked up??y r u making such a big fuss?" he said that it doesnt matter what course i was taking, as long as i'm okay with it. but my mom was freaking out like crazy and i couldnt take it..i dont believe this. so she just shut the door and went off to work.she was sooo dead on on me taking HTM, everything else is rubbish to her. if only she'd just learn how to pause, think for a moment, and then talk.
look, i know u're all going to tell me that my mom is just concerned about my future and stuffs..i know it too. BUT might i add that u'll still have a future, regardless of what course u're taking? as long as u try ur best to do well, i'm sure u'll at least graduate with a diploma.even ITE students have great futures. this is a new world.not some superficial old world where if u dont get into JC, it's over. Dad told bro about it and even bro was saying that it was okay. One stepping stone, big deal?
it's not even really a stepping stone. now she wants me to appeal. but really, should i?should i really appeal for it? it might not work out.. Maybe i can work info-comms out?
screw this!

ok. i'm finally blogging with my computer. but it's still not working properly yet. it's still not ready.-pulls hair-
anyway, i better blog now before something screws up again.
Friday night was fun. my dad picked up bro from his camp and we all went to Aranda for a little family time. yep. My parents dipped themselves in the jacuzzi while bro and i went to the gym. it was soo nice cos there were only 1 or 2 people in e gym when we went in cos it was around 830pm. working out at that gym was pretty interesting. well, and tiring. but i loved it! running on the treadmill and stuffs, i should buy a treadmill for my room! so i did like, sit-ups till my stomach muscle suddenly pulled. woah it hurt, but i was sooo happy! i know, i'm weird, but i guess it shows that it's really worked out doesnt it?? ha. by 9.15 i was all alone in the gym, with class95 playing on the radio, and the tv with extreme makeover. cool i'm telling u.
after that we went to bedok for dinner. har! Ba chor mee never tasted so good in my life! *grins at jean* it's true that u get really hungry after exercising. i was starving. so mom suggested ordering satays. OH NO! i cant eat that. otherwise all the running and sit-ups, wasted! but then.... bro, the expert(really) told me this whole thing about how it's ok to eat after exercising and u should eat more and stuffs, with the whole glucose and carbo thingy, (i really don't know, but it means that i can eat it) and yep. u guessed it. feasted on satays like a wiild boar. hey once in a while, can lah. =P so dad suggested that we should make every friday night family gym night. haha so anyone who intends to ask me to go out on fri nights, no more chance! we're doing our part for singapore's Healthy Lifestyle campaign! lol
saturday. went out with my aunt. totally weird and awkward. cos it was just the 2 of us. but i'm telling u, shopping with her is like, watching spongebob squarepants! it's funny. and she buys the stuffs as long as she likes it. wow if my mom was like that...*starts wondering* So my aunt gave me "some money" (which i repeatedly refused and eventually unwillingly took<-it's true!) to buy clothes and stuffs. And in the end, she paid for everything i bought! MY gosh, what an aunt man. what an aunt. oh not forgetting this. she should get an award for her bargaining skills. friendly yet, professional. lol. So on our way back in the train, this young couple(prob my age), whom i presume, were doing really intimate stuffs by the door, got yelled at by this indian lady. the words go something like this. "HEY! are u singaporean? are u? looking for hotel is it?!? not singaporean dont take MRT LAH! TAKE A CAB LAH!" yes. she's either deprived of love, or the couple were probably over-intimate.haha. it's amusing.
which brings me to another story. sunday. (haha i know! so many stories! it's been so long since i blogged!) Went out with anna, supposedly, to Cheerobics. But u noe, we.. we're just dumb and assumers, so we ended up at Ngee Ann City where we assumed it will be held at(cos it was last yr) and waddya 'noe? it's empty. LOL need i mention again we're assumers? girl, if this was the Amazing race, and we didnt read the info correctly, Anna and Seige, Last Place. lol.so we took a freaking slow Bus 14 to Suntec(where Cheerobics was held at) and now, the story. anna and i sat all the way to the back of the bus, and right in front of us were this couple.they were sitting, perpendicular to how we were sitting. Mr I-love-u-so-much-my-smoochie-pie and Ms you're-a-great-lover-my-hunchie-bunny were caressing each other so much, right in front of my face.
at first, it didnt bother me cos hey, they're a couple. it's normal. but soon it got more um, er how do u say this, vigorous(LOL! I DONT KNOW!) and i got annoyed. Plus the fact that the traffic was so heavy, and i had to keep turning my head to the left to look out the window cos everytime i faced the front, the woman would look up at me. haha so anna and i started typing what we wanted to say on our hps and showed them to each other. Then anna typed something that just sounded really funny to me, and i burst out laughing. So hard the couple suddenly stopped and looked at me. I shant reveal the contents of the message but it's hilarious. LOL. ha! In your faces, busters!!! hmph. *clenches 2 fists and bumps them together*
and yes, we missed e results to cheerobics. AGAIN. lol are we losers, or are we losers?
(Pavillion Package. some details not included.)
went out with anna again yesterday with 2 more friends, and we went to the pavillion, again to my dismay. lol. i'm not a pool player, and not a pavillion kinda girl. i totally suck at pool. and still, no offence to anyone, but i still think that place sucks. and yea, when things couldnt get any worst, saw practically half my classmates there.and some "other" people. haha smart ol' me just ran to give Shaun a little shoulder tap and "hi" and left.
well ok,so much for my non-exciting,crap-revealing adventures.am gonna go off now to catch the repeat of The Return Of The King on HBO. yay.
Ps: Yee Hwee, thanks girl! have to reply to ur comments here cos comment box not working. but anyway, thanks again!

ok. i have not been blogging for so long because my damn computer's given up on me. went on strike or something. so it'll only be ok, i hope, on sat when my bro returns home to deal with it. yay :) But right now tho, anna's computer is wonderful.
so anyway, i think i'll start off with last sat. (wanna find out about my 'o's? LATER. HMPH) last sat anna and i went out to the pasar malam at tampines interchange.. Everything's basically the same, like, common pasar malam stuffs. Bought a pair of earrings, A PAIR I SAY, which leads me to this: I put them on for like 1 day, and on sunday i took out my left earring and my ear lope was bleeding. and no, it wasnt just a little bit of blood, it was like, one tiny dap and voila! a japanese flag formed on the tissue. OK so i exaggerated a little, but i swear it was bleeding alot. didnt hurt at all but, ah well, my E-BLOOD(yo!) wanted to come out so badly, i decided to let him breathe some air. so now i'm only wearing one earring on my right ear, and i look like a:
a) pirate b)ah lian c)..ah beng?
so anyway, later on we saw the electric guitar competition thingy outside of TM and boy i'm telling u, people who can play that magical instrument are so talented! this nerdy looking dude went up, and i have to say," never judge a book by it's cover." uh-huh. his fingers are like magical. the way they move. *does finger movement* oh i can do it sooo well,in the air. right. anyway, one of the guys who participated was from my sch, and he was playing it pretty well. it was very.. southern-cowboyish blues. fabulous. sat was great.
ok, monday-release of 'o' level results. let me just say that i screwed up my prelims real badly, and my L1R4 was 29 and my R5 was 38 or something. i rmb telling everyone that i'll be happy as long as i get a 20 and below for my LIR4. so that i can enter poly. well, i am pretty happy. i shant say how much i've got but it's waaayyyy better than my prelims so i'm joyful. :)
i dont know how to explain this, but do u ever see 2 different kinds of people? like,1 kind would not be happy with the food they eat but the other would be happy as long as there's food?( wow i am bad at this explaining stuffs!lousy phrasing!) well that's how it pretty much works for me. i'm the other kind. while some are angry and sad over not being able to make it to the JC of their choice, i'm happy with being able to make it to poly. PHEW.
and i have to mention this too. Anna passed me the collage she had made for me and, it's artistic, interesting, and basically, HOT. lol
I HATE THE MOE FOR COMING UP WITH SINGPASS! I HATE GOING ONLINE FOR MY ADMISSION. I WANT THE TRADITIONAL WAY. NOW I CANT DO ANYTHING COS THE DAMN SITE IS SLOW. IF I DONT GET THIS DONE, I'LL NOT MAKE IT BY FRIDAY. I'LL BE COURSELESS, AND IT'LL BE ALL YOUR FAULT, U FREAKING MOE.

wow..reading my past couple of entries, i realised it sounds like i need to see a therapist.
i do not!!! lol! i'm just...
WHINY.
yea. but anyway, borrowed this "Drawing Cartoons" book from the library last week and it's a really great book! haha now it sounds like i'm a loser ("Seige! u loser!") for borrowing this kind of books. okay, but it's really cool! it teaches u everything!! *gets excited* Did u know that drawing an artiste in a cartoon-ed version is called a caricature? *does irritating "ooh" sound* I've been loser-drawing some.. Bruce Willis, Robin Williams, Elvis(it does not look liks him at all), Bill Clinton, Saddam blah blah blah... lol would have put the pics up but it's me. The completely-has-no-computer-skills-and-needs-help-from-anna-forever person. Thus, no idea. lol.
sudden note to anna: wade robson was on nickelodeon! lol teaching dance moves! -what?
Anyway, this song has been stuck in my head for days, i cant get it out! *starts singing again*
" Broken this fragile thing now
And I can't, I can't pick up the pieces
And I've thrown my words all around
But I can't, I can't give you a reason
I feel so broken up (so broken up)
And I give up (I give up)
I just want to tell you so you know
Here I go, scream my lungs out and try to get to you
You are my only one
I let go, but there's just no one that gets me like you
You are my only, my only one"
-Yellowcard, My Only One
ps: this is a really boring entry.

I let go, but there's just no one that gets me like you
You are my only, my only one"

what's worse then taking the 'o' levels?
taking back the results.
i'm freaking out. badly. i know i've been blogging alot about how much i'm freaking out lately. but i just cant help it. i guess that explains me blogging now, at midnight(12.43am). well of cos, the other reason is that my bro's not home so computer's free(hmm). but me freaking out is a different subject.
i swear i'm not trying to irritate all those who have been trying to make me relax (esp u dear anna ,heh) about this. thanks for that but.. -lost all words to describe exactly how i'm feeling now-
i dont even have a quote.

The End Is Near
i'm told that the 'O's results will be out next Friday, 2pm.
*freaks out*
I mean, i knew it was either going to be on the 25th or the 28th. But this time i'm sort of being confirmed it'll be on the 25th. which means i wont even be able to take one last weekend on the 26th & 27th. Even the time is out.
*panics*
It's been nearly 3 mnths of break. i know. but i'm not ready for my results. i'm so not ready. i cant be like normal people who are confident of their grades so i am not ready. Please let there be some major screw-up at MOE and let them postpone it to a later date. Last night, as my mom was cutting stuffs in the kitchen, she suddenly asked me if i was scared about the results coming out. My reply?
"Duh, momma, duh~"
*pukes*
I just puked my guts out.
*breath runs short*

i've decided to quit my job. everyone's gone, left, leaving, or not going back. i aint staying.
realised that the management there isnt actually- perfect. and well, i seem to pretty much dislike working there. thus, the above. maybe it's just me. maybe i have a pyschological problem about going to work. but i get pretty annoyed knowing that i have to go back there to work everytime. it's like, "man, this sux." besides, they aint that, "generous".oh and results are coming out..*freaks out* And to all royal blood out there-- NO i'm not a spoilt princess, your highnesses. i don't get served. i serve.
dad got a little shock when i told him i felt like quitting. but he supports it anyway. yay daddy. mom doesnt mind me quitting either. she's just afraid that i'll have nothing to do at home without a job. "hey mom, i'll go to the library!"

Cock-a-doodle-doo
now that the whole chinese new year frenzy has gone down for me, i shall update. (yes u may scream with joy, anna.)
new year's eve (chu2 xi1):
went back to NAS to visit e teachers. Canteen looks like a macdonald's area. DAMN. although it really takes up a lot of space, it looks nice! they always have to do this huh?!? they always have to do something the year after i leave. bleagh. lol but i'm still glad i left. went over to Pavillion to watch friends play pool. I DO NOT LIKE THAT PLACE, AT ALL. lol yes. it's just too... beng-sy for me. okay so maybe some nerdy people go there too but still, not a place for me. *looks at jean* -hums- lol.
Reunion dinner downstairs(my cousin's house) was delicious. Or maybe it's the whole atmosphere thing which made me feel so. but well, i love reunion dinner nights, so, i dont care. oh right, recieved most of my hongbaos that night.heh. Anyway it was pretty much the same as the previous years, just that this time my cousin and i had something to entertain ourselves. uh-huh. we got bored, went up to my house, took out the guitars and played rubbish for like 15-30 mins, and then (i rmb this procedure well, anna girl.) took a bakwa each, and went downstairs again. Lol wicked.
played mahjong later that night with anna, dad and mom. mom was soooo engrossed in the luck of the zodiac signs thingy on tv, whenever one of our zodiac signs came out, she'd run to the table to write what the guy said down. well here's bad news. that guy said people born in the year of the dragon should try to avoid eating chilli. WHAT?!?!? U'RE TELLING A GIRL WHO CANNOT SURVIVE WITHOUT CHILLI TO NOT EAT CHILLI?!? *sobs* i can't do it! <-ass. lol. erm, back to mahjong. was having fun playing it when suddenly at 12+ (yes gong xi fa cai already), phone rings. it was grams. ack. my cousin had to go down. so we er..lol we.. rushed through the last game. LITERALLY RUSHED. rofl. it was damn funny. so much for new year's EVE. there's more. lol. look down. 1ST day of new year (chu1 yi1):
well first day's pretty much the same as every year so went to the temples blah blah blah... That night was different though. went to KBOX (Pavillion again.-stares-) for karaoke with my cousins and brother. it was pretty fun, cos we're all like singing (badly, at least for me) and fooling around(my brother's darn funny).. until my cousin and her husband-to-be got drunk. i swear she was at least semi-drunk. lol and they were supposed to be driving us. anna and i were like,"woah, she's drunk. er, it's ok. we'll take a cab back."lol. thankfully there was HOPE. one of my driver cousin's still alive, so he managed to drive us home, which was about, near 2 am. late eh? heh.
2nd day (chu1 er4):
went to my uncle's new house for lunch. pretty cool house, judging the fact that they changed part of the backyard into their bedroom, behind the kitchen. woah. My uncle hired a lion dance troupe. so there was this lion dance performance just for us.. har har. *recalls lion-butt-touching thingy*. it was pretty nice and all, but real LOUD. lol i thought it was quite amusing tho, that our aunties, uncles and my mom all went up to look at the oranges on the plate, saying it was this number, that number, when all i saw was a "wang4" word. *opens mouth in amazement* how did they do that???lol. cute people. later on went over to another of my aunt's house and yada yada yada...
Dad drove us around that night because my bro wanted to take pictures with his digicam. We went from Boat Quay to chinatown area, and then to the central district.. Dad then brought us to this place(i can't remember the name) near the Fullerton hotel and we went up there, and the view WAS AMAZING!!!! We could see like all the buildings and like the whole central thingy... and the erm, back view of the merlion, and a beautiful view of Swissotel! It was sooo mezmerizing. i know i know, u'll probably say, "hey, it's singapore. what's so mezmerizing?" well i don't know but it was truly breathtaking for me. cos we were standing on a high level, and we were the only ones there, so it was a great atmosphere.AND hello? it's night-time! it's perfecct! could see all the suntec city buildings as well. However, i did feel a bit uneasy because no one was there, and i never knew that we were allowed to go up there. especially when the winehouse below is closed and there's no one in charge there. but dad kept re-assuring us that we were ALLOWED so.... HAHA U GUYS DIDNT GET TO SEE IT! nanny nanny poo poo.. *runs around like an idiot with hands waving in the air*
3rd day (chu1 san1):
went visiting to another aunt's house with my bro and dad. yes yes it seems like i have a lot of relatives eh? well mom and i were counting the other day and all in all, my dad's side and my mom's side added together gives me.....*drum roll*...... 79 RELATIVES!!! once again... 79 RELATIVES!!! 79 RELATIVES!!! 79 RELATIVES!!! 79 RELA *SMACK* right, i'm sorry. lol
watched the dvd of The Incredibles that night, courtesy of my cousin. It was my first time watching it. A bit lag eh?
4th day (chu1 si4):
Went to my primary school teacher's house for a little class gathering. tho there were only 12 of us, har, i havent seen a few of them since 2000!! so i couldnt recognise 1 of them, and i was like wondering to myself when he came," what's this guy doing in our group?" and then it suddenly smacked me in the head. "OH.... right.."
out of the 12 people there, i realised 10 were in JC. and the only one one working besides me COULD go to JC. it's just that she didnt want to. HOLY SMACKEROO! i think they made a mistake of putting me in that class back then. seriously, i was put in the wrong class. c'mon. 7 or 8 of them are in RJC, then others conquering MJC, TJC, TPJC, SAJC and VJC.. oh yea, i was put in the wrong class back then. They're all great people tho.. and i had a really great time with them back then. BUT i still think i was put in the wrong class. -shakes head-lousy management.
had a grand dinner that night at Pines with my other relatives and then went on to... (okay get ready for this again) KARAOKE. lol. wild wild hectic.
okay so much for 4 days of new year. lol lazy to describe more details. (quick u guys, count ur lucky stars! i know u're thanking god i'm stopping!)
but erm, i still wanna say that i loved Joss Stone's and John Mayer's performances at the Grammy's.. Especially John Mayer's. i mean, after all that crazy strong loud songs, after all the Greenday, Kanye West and all, suddenly u have someone going "...fathers be good to your daughters..." , it has such a calming effect. like, *breathes* ah, so peaceful.. lol. i loved the performance by the collaboration of Keith Urban, Tim Mcgraw, Gretchen Wilson and the other country singers.. it was a cool one. and can someone tell me how many times did Tim Mcgraw perform? he kept appearing on stage!
right i'll stop, i'll stop!!
ps: High School Reunion's last episode tonight! -excited-

High School Reunion?
After watching High School Reunion last night, i turned off the tv and lied straight on my bed, with the lights off and everything. It was 2am and i couldnt get to sleep.
i started thinking, " What will happen, if WE had a High School Reunion 10 yrs from now?"
wow, i really cant imagine it. really. what's really gonna happen 10 yrs from now? what should be happening 10 yrs from now? i really have no idea. maybe we should have a NASS High School Reunion reality tv show where they'll like, send us to Hawaii for 2 weeks and live in a house there with NASS's ex-students?
OR, we could just make a deal that we'll have a gathering 10 yrs from now and see how everyone's doing. u know, i think we should. i mean, not that i'm confident of going back as this huge lawyer or doctor or anything (cos i'll most probably be one of the most unsuccessful person around), but i'll really love to see what these classmates of mine become 10 yrs later. who's gnna be the first to get married? who's gonna be the successful business person? who's gonna be this huge lawyer? who's gonna be the first to have his/her face on the newspaper with a headline that goes: "Entrepreneur Of The Year- Youngest Billionaire in Asia!"? well, i'll probably be the first to have my face on the newspaper with the headline: " Too Poor To Afford Anything at 27". But hey, with one of my exclassmates being entrepreneur of the year, I'LL HAVE HOPE! so work hard u guys!!! BE THE BEST! heh. or maybe i'll be the billionaire. hmm, that's not bad actually. =)
i really dont know who's gonna be what, but i sure hope that everyone will become someone of potential or at least, someone with a good heart. See, i dont know if i can be the "potential" one, but i'll try to keep a good heart eh?
so maybe we SHOULD have a gathering or somthing 10 years from now. Oh but if u guys cant find me, it's most probable that i've migrated to australia or something. yea, but just email me huh? lol. Maybe u guys will see me on TV hosting a reality tv show eh? feel free to call my agent then! *thwarps self* "sorry." lol
But forget abt counting down 10 yrs for now. I'm still counting down to Chinese New Year! Only 7 more days!

just watched Simple Plan's A Rock Special on MTV and it triggered my insides so much...
it is only now that i realise...
I SO CANT WAIT FOR THEIR GIG! i cant believe it's gonna be happening. and i'm gonna get it.
In the meantime, let me leave u with the lyrics to my favourite song:
Tell me what's wrong with society.
When everywhere I look I see.
Young girls dying to be on TV.
They won't stop till they've reached their dreams.
Diet pills,surgery.
Photoshoped pictures in magazines.
Telling them how they should be.
It doesnt make sense to me.
Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me whats going on.
If you open your eyes,
you'll see that something is wrong.
I guess things arnt how they used to be.
There's no more normal family's.
Parents act like enemies.
Making kids feel like its world war 3.
No one cares,no ones there.
I guess we're all just too damn busy.
Money's our first priority.
It doesnt make sense to me.
Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on.
If you open your eyes.
You'll see that something's wrong.
Is everybody going crazy?
Is everybody going crazy?
Tell me what's wrong with society.
When everywhere I look I see.
Rich guys driving big SUV's.
While kids are starving in the streets.
No one cares.
No one likes to share.
I guess life's unfair.
Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on.
If you open your eyes,
You'll see that something,Something is wrong.
Is everybody going crazy?
Can any body tell me whats going on?
Tell me what's going on?
If you open your eyes,
you'll see that something is wrong.

Ps: As much as i love the show, AXN should just stop showing My Best Friend's Wedding on the channel! Watched it 7 times already!
