graduation gowns.
i never knew that you get to wear those when you graduate from a polytechnic, until recently(thanks to marc). this afternoon was graduation day for most of the seniors of the Infocomms diploma. it didnt really mean much to me until i saw a couple of them in their graduation gowns.
then i realised how great it must have felt for them.
not that the gown looked extremely fashionable and rad or anything. but that it meant something.
it meant graduation. it meant that they did it. how? i dont know. but they did it.
yes. i want to put on that gown. i know, it's not that i'm looking forward to working life or anything( i know. whataloser). but i am looking forward to the day that i graduate. yes. the day i put on that gown will be the day that i know that all the shit that i went through finally paid off. just think. that's me in less than a year's time. less than a friggin' year!
wrong. why? well, if my current project goes on at this rate, i'll probably feel the same way this time next year, watching my friends leave with smiles while i look forward to my graduation day which would probably be in 2009(2010?). *raises eyebrow*
damn. let the US presidential elections, the olympics and my graduation be held on the same year. please.
let me say, "i friggin' did it."
*crosses fingers*
ps: i heard a really good news today. one word. "relieved."
